Visitor Options

Many visitors to Sundog Retreat have enjoyed peaceful exploration around the 160 acre property or strolling down to the nearby Yukon River (about 50 minutes round trip). Free of charge, guests can also request a campfire, play volleyball or go mountain biking in the area.

Families often enjoy having their children exploring and finding adventures outdoors.

The Hot Springs Road (10-minute drive) has several interesting stops:

  • See woodland caribou, moose, elk, musk ox, mountain goats, Dall sheep and more at the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. Take part in a one-hour guided van tour and take home unforgettable memoires. www.yukonwildlife.ca
  • You many also want to try the climbing, zip-line or swimming at the Takhini Hot Springs.
